Rock Creek, Eastern Sierras
June 2008
It was pure luck that I scored a campsite right on Rock Creek in the East Fork Campground on Rock Creek Road. These are reservation-only sites and typically need to be reserved months ahead of your trip date. Not only did I score a site right on the creek, but IMHO it was THE nicest site in the entire campground! Mom and I drove up on Sunday, June 15 and were joined by Donna on Monday. We had a week of perfect weather, hungry trout and beautiful scenery. Highlights included a trip to Mono Lake and Yosemite Valley, and a hike up Little Lake Valley. |
